Poem #1 (OVERTHINKING)

Overthinking is the cousin to sinking,
the more things that run through my mind
the more i can't see, my mind becomes blind.

Chill they say, stop worrying they say,
little do they know the thoughts still wont go away.

These thoughts are heavyweight,
holding me down when i wanna feel featherweight,
just like a feather in the the sky let me fly, levitate
maybe i should meditate.......

They say don't think about the past because it's already been and gone,
they say plan for the future so things don't go wrong.

but the present is a present because it's the now,
so from now on i will be in the present the real question is

HOW?.......
