KBK Bookclub #55 (July 11th) | Roadside Picnic by Strugatsky Brothers

I am glad to announce that the book chosen for the next KBK Bookclub meeting is "Roadside Picnic" by Strugatsky Brothers.

The BookClub meeting shall take place at Hive account@krolestwo on the 13th of June 2026 starting at 18.00. The discussion will be held in either Polish or English depending on the language skills of the participants, but you are free to read the book in whatever language suits you best.

The winning book was proposed by Hive account@krsz and supported by Hive account@michaledmund, Hive account@eugenegal, Hive account@czyzu and Hive account@krsz himself. Other proposals included "Industrial Society and Its Future" (Unabomber Manifesto) by Theodore Kaczynski proposed by Hive account@grigorijj (An amazing proposal I must admit. Hopefully it shall get selected in the future) and “Ubik” or “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” by Philip K. Dick, proposed by Hive account@eugenegal. So many good suggestions this time around. I encourage you to continue proposing those books in the future!
