This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. Today, I want to share with you an experience filled with emotions and rewarding thoughts that I lived last Sunday, January 18th. It all took place in the city of Maracay, specifically at the Parque Los Aviadores Shopping Mall 🛍️, along with a group of young people from my community, the "Tierra de Gracia" Nazarene Church ⛪.

After our Sunday evening service, we came up with the idea of surprising Anthony Ramos, one of the guys in the group who was having a birthday 🎂. Honestly, we felt like everything was perfectly calculated and that he didn’t suspect a thing. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, the birthday boy ended up finding out about everything! Hahaha 😅.

I remember that days before the first test that was "Mathematics", a psychologist visited us, she brought with her words of calm, it was like a therapy to relax, she taught us to breathe to calm anxiety, to let go of nerves and trust in what we had already learned. He showed us that serenity is as important as knowledge.

I don't know how to listen. When I was little, my classmates used to make fun of me because I couldn't tell a piano from a guitar. To me, they sounded exactly the same. My ears or my brain have been a bit lazy when it comes to listening attentively. Or perhaps I simply heard what my imagination wanted me to hear. The ear can be trained.

I reached out to take one lying far away, but it bumped into another delicate, soft, bare hand. I recoiled and quickly searched for the daring soul who had snatched the jewel from me. Woe is me! When I found those green eyes, like ripe lemons, that hair protected by a straw hat and tied with a ribbon, I approached her and felt butterflies in my stomach. Confused, I introduced myself and apologized. She barely heard me and continued smiling among the lemon trees.

It's not been very long I started really using digital tools. I was not really exposed to gadgets, not to talk of having easy access to them. This generation are really lucky.

But then, I became a digital migrant. When the time came, I had to get myself acquainted with some tech tools, especially when I started the University.

After a huge hello to everyone who works magic ✨️ in their gardens and shares it with us in this lovely community, where we learn a little more each day, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the support you gave me in my previous post. In it, I described the damage caused by pesky nighttime visitors who took over my cilantro plants, which I've been keeping a very close eye on since that incident, although I always have, but now I've stepped up my vigilance.

I want to be very transparent with you: feeling light is gratifying, but health comes first. I'm aware that this weight loss wasn't intentional or optimal. That's why, although I'm celebrating this plank performance today, I'm already working on my recovery process to return to my ideal weight in a healthy and gradual way

I had gone with my old, crazy friend from high school to see an ad on Facebook Marketplace where they were selling a Washburn Taurus T24 electric bass at an incredibly low price. I'd been looking at ads for used electric basses for a while, and this opportunity was unmissable—it was half price.

This portrait didn’t end with paint. After finishing the acrylic piece, I crocheted a scarf and sewed it directly onto the canvas, turning a flat painting into a tactile mixed-media artwork.

It was a bright Saturday when I finally joined the seventeen year reunion of my Saint Anthony Secondary School class, an event I had heard about for years but never managed to attend. The school hall had been transformed with banners bearing our graduation photo, and the familiar chime of the old school bell echoed as alumni streamed in, greeting each other with laughter that seemed to bridge the gap of time. I was able to recognized some faces that had aged gracefully, some with children in tow, others with the same mischievous grin that had once earned us detentions and there are some faces I was unable to recognized.
