Democratic Gas Lighting

For some time now, I've observed that the Democrats seem to be getting away with crimes by casting (unfounded) wild accusations against their opposition, usually for things they have done. This shifts public attention away from them and forces the opposition to make monumental efforts to prove the accusations are not true.
