In less than a month it will be a year since the release of the PlayStation 5 console as part of the upgrade of the new generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft,
but how many units of the console have been sold so far?

And which games were the best sellers? Sony reveals the data in the July-September quarterly report.

The PlayStation 5 console, which was launched on November 19, 2020, may not meet consumer demand,
but sales figures speak for themselves and continue to rise as time goes on.

13.4 million PS5 units have been sold since it was released by the end of last September, with out of that amount, 3.3 million units were sold during the last quarter.

Sony also reported that 47.2 million subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service and 104 million PSN users are active monthly.

During the period in question, 76.4 million games were sold, 7.6 million of them from gaming companies owned by the company and 62% of sales were digital.

As for specific games, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the best-selling for the console, with 6.5 million copies (PS4 + PS5), followed by Demon Souls with 1.4 million copies followed by Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with 1.1 million units.

Meanwhile, yesterday (Wednesday) there was a State of Play broadcast on behalf of the company, where you can see the various news on the company channel at the following link
