The Green Triptych
The shock can be different. When I entered this hall with a staircase leading to the upper floors, I had already once experienced a fuchsia shock in winter. I open the door from the street and find myself in a room where absolutely everything is painted in a complex purple-pink-purple color, which envelops consciousness and does not allow it to orient itself in which direction to move. It's good that the stairs only lead up. Gradually, we got used to this unexpected color for a cultural institution and lived with it for several years.
And here it is again December, again the exhibition to which I brought my paintings. It's snowing outside, I go up to the familiar door, prepare the camera for work, because I'm going to take pictures of those fuchsia walls and stairs again, open the door to the hall, and there...
I did not expect such drastic changes. I didn't expect them at all, and it was a real shock. Surprisingly, the saturation and density of the color turned out to be the same as the previous purple-pink, but the effect turned out to be complex. Of course, it's nice to see so much green among the cold and boring winter flowers, but I immediately felt the cold there and wanted to go back to the old color, which I didn't like, but it had a warming effect.
Now you will have to live with this green shock for several years and get used to this new state of the entrance to the exhibition hall.
