Office Chronicles 1: Between The Files, A Tuesday Diary!

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. It's been a while now but here I am again, Hive account@lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕

Today felt like a rare, gentle breeze at the office. Unlike the usual whirlwind of a Monday. The workload today was incredibly light. There weren't many files to process, which allowed the atmosphere to remain calm and relaxed throughout the morning. It's such a relief when things flow smoothly, giving me a moment to actually breathe amidst the usual routine.

Around mid-morning, I decided to take a quick break and headed down to the canteen for a snack. I ended up picking up some sotanghon and puto, a simple combination that hit the spot perfectly. When I got back, our head announced that our new polo shirts, meant for our every-Friday attire, were finally ready for collection. Getting new gear always feels like a nice little morale booster.

The surprises didn't stop there, though. Right as I headed home for my lunch break, several of my long-awaited parcels arrived at the doorstep. There is something uniquely satisfying about unboxing some packages after a busy week. It felt like a small reward just for making it through the day.

The highlight of the afternoon was the unexpected treat from one of my friends, who is a nurse here. She surprised us with a generous serving of Mexican Platter during our afternoon snack time. The food was delicious and we enjoyed that simple snack party that we had which made the rest of the workday fly by in a blur of good vibes.

These are the kinds of days I try to hold onto. They remind me that even in the middle of the standard work week, there is always room for a little bit of joy and connection.
