My entry Ladies of Hive Community Contest #293 Edition (ENG - ESP)

Hello. A big and nice greeting to the entire community. I haven't participated in a long time, but I have tried to keep reading what they publish.

I am Cuban, I live in Cuba and, at the moment, the country and those of us who live in it are going through very difficult situations, so it has not been possible for me to be more present.

This week's proposals have caught my attention and, although the first is not something that is practiced in this land of mine, I have seen it in movies and series and it has always seemed like a nice experience to experience. Right now, regardless of age, I would love to exchange space with someone who lived in Greece. There is so much beautiful history in it, so many places I would love to visit... I have always wanted to see Thebes or the temple of Zeus up close, or get to know Crete and walk through that labyrinth that I have only seen in documentaries. There is so much mythology that I would like to see and feel; It would be magical, really.

I tell you that June 6th was my birthday, just a week after my son Dylan's and a month before my youngest daughter, Lía's. Also very close is that of Gaby, my eldest daughter, who will be turning 26 in September. For me, a whole birthday day begins on May 30th. I think you have already noticed that I love celebrating birthdays, mine or not, and today a great friend of mine has her birthday; I already called her to come and celebrate together.

I have always felt that we should celebrate life despite the sorrows, because not all of us have the opportunity for one more day. And if it seems little, let's think that the entire universe made your life possible, and that is pure magic without limits; I believe so, and that is why I celebrate each birthday as if it were the first of my life. That's what I wanted my children to feel, that's why every birthday I reinvent their day and shower them with kisses, hugs and songs. I love the joy of celebrating that I exist and that they are part of my life, as well as I manage to do it for my friends and for those people I love.

​So, if there is anyone from the community celebrating these days, please raise your glass, your cup of coffee, tea or simply water! But let's toast: let's toast to what we have lived and to what is yet to be experienced, to today, yesterday and tomorrow.

Hola. Un saludo bien grande y lindo para toda la comunidad. Hace mucho que no participo, pero sí he intentado mantenerme leyendo lo que publican.
​Soy cubana, vivo en Cuba y, en estos momentos, el país y los que lo habitamos estamos atravesando situaciones muy difíciles, por lo que no me ha sido posible estar más presente.

​Las propuestas de esta semana han llamado mi atención y, aunque la primera no es algo que en esta tierra mía se practique, lo he visto en películas y series y siempre me ha parecido una experiencia linda de experimentar. Ahora mismo, sin importar la edad, me encantaría intercambiar espacio con alguien que viviera en Grecia. Hay tanta historia hermosa en ella, tantos lugares que me encantaría visitar... Siempre he querido ver de cerca Tebas o el templo de Zeus, o conocer Creta y caminar por ese laberinto que solo he visto en documentales. Hay tanta mitología que me gustaría ver y palpar; sería mágico, realmente.

​Les cuento que el seis de junio fue mi cumpleaños, justo una semana después del de mi hijo Dylan y un mes antes del de mi hija menor, Lía. Muy cercano también está el de Gaby, mi hija mayor, que ya para septiembre estará cumpliendo 26 años. Para mí, desde el 30 de mayo ya comienza toda una jornada cumpleañera. Creo que ya han notado que me encanta celebrar los cumpleaños, míos o no, y justamente hoy cumple años una gran amiga; ya la llamé para que pasara y celebráramos juntas.

​Siempre he sentido que debemos celebrar la vida a pesar de los pesares, porque no todos tenemos la oportunidad de un día más. Y si parece poco, pensemos que todo el universo hizo posible tu vida, y eso es magia pura y sin límites; eso creo, y por eso celebro cada cumpleaños como si fuese el primero de mi vida. Eso he querido que mis hijos sientan, por eso cada cumpleaños les reinvento el día y los colmo de besos, abrazos y canciones. Adoro la alegría de celebrar que existo y que ellos son parte de mi vivir, así como también me las arreglo para hacerlo por mis amigos y por esas personas que quiero.

​Así que, si hay alguien de la comunidad de cumple por estos días, ¡que levante su copa, su taza de café, de té o simplemente de agua! Pero brindemos: brindemos por lo vivido y por lo que está por vivir, por el hoy, el ayer y el mañana.
