Why "Crashed and Burned" ?

She has no core base of support and pushing Al Franken from the Senate- under some flimsy circumstances- sealed her reputation with the broader public. A smart politician would have recognized this and committed to holding onto the job she already had.
We sure are filled with revenge. While Gillebrand May never have placed in the top 5 of Democratic candidates, her message was lost in Franken revenge. And it was a good message for women and families. Fortunately, we have other candidates to carry those ideas forward and Gillebrand is a committed public servant.

Why is that in the headline? She was a longshot from the start. She entered, added to the conversation and exited when her message didn't resonate with the electorate. crash and burn is a little much.
It was always Al Franken and her rush to judgement and her denial of doing anything wrong.In the mean time we lost one great progressive and got this Corp. Dems. Glad to see most American's are paying attention now and not letting these corp. dems get away with their BS anymore!!

I could not see her standing up against Trump. I am not sure any of the candidates can except Elizabeth Warren. Even Joe bidden does not seem fast enough on his feet to stand up against trump. The Democrats need a fighter to stand against Trump and Warren is the only one to show she can can out talk Trump.
