Midnight Thoughts: About Writing

I've been withholding from writing for a long long time

and today, while looking in the mirror I found a reason why

Writing comprises a find yourself face to face to- an encounter

which penetrates, which dislocates, which disorganises

every fiber of this what I call be-ing

To encounter one must sense oneself

one must be reconciled to one's identity

To encounter is to recognise the reflection

I'm all blank pages and a full heart

How to fit all the pieces?

To write is to open wounds that I will only be able to heal by writing...

How will I know when to stop?
