The Kawa Bath Experience

The Kawa Bath experience was definitely one for the books! Probably around 2020, my uncle and I visited the Fantasy Lodge located at Samboan, Cebu which is situated near the southernmost tip of the island. It was rather a spontaneous visit since we initially planned on staying at home. But since we enjoy spontaneous adventures, we carried on and rode his motorcycle since it was just a 15-minute drive away from my grandmother's house.

Upon arriving at the place, I was mesmerized by the vibes it gave off. Since we visited it at the height of the pandemic, being able to visit a resort was surreal since I was locked down at home for months. My uncle, who visited the place prior to me, told me to try the Kawa Bath and he also said that he would pay for it. How could I say no to that? The Kawa experience was Php 500 or roughly about 10 USD. The Kawa or pot was infused with essential oils along with freshly-picked flowers. I then chose the area with an overlooking view of the Negros Island but there are also Kawa Bath areas located near the shoreline. Upon stepping inside the Kawa, I felt like I was chicken being cooked in this large pot! With all honesty, I was anxious as to how the experience would go since I thought that the water will be boiling hot but thankfully there was a staff on-standby to assist me whenever I want to adjust the temperature. It was definitely an amazing and unique experience. It allowed me to relax for a while and I am truly grateful for such experience.
