Future of Work - Conference!

I was at an extraordinary conference this Saturday(9th Feb 2019). If you have been following me for sometime then you would know I like to attend meetups and conferences during weekends. Sometimes I give tech talks too. It is a great way to understand how things are evolving in your industry and network with amazing people.

I was at 'Future of Work' conference organised by YourStory, a media technology platform for entrepreneurs and startups. They cover extensive news about startup ecosystem in India.

As the title says, the conference was centered around the 'Future' of how organisations and engineers should shape up as the technologies evolve.

Started with electrifying speech by Amod Malviya, Co-founder of Udaan, on the title 'Evolving role of engineers in an algorithmised world.' It was really thought provoking.

There were many speakers and stalls by companies like Go-Jek, Postman etc. Koinex also had a stall and Rahul Raj, Co-Founder & CEO of Koinex gave a brilliant talk. Koinex recently opened its office in Bangalore and looking for people to fill its open positions as they expand into other Blockchain businesses apart from the crypto exchange.

I had the opportunity to talk with Koinex team, gave them some insights about Steem blockchain and asked them list STEEM in their exchange, he duly noted it down and also told me what all the thing they look into before qualifying a token to be listed. Got some details about the upcoming products which have announced recently. Hope things will be better in India for crypto ecosystem to thrive.

I won't go into the details of who spoke of what, if you are interested then head over to articles by YourStory.com.

I could see how AI has moved from being just a hype to some real world usages and it is not something 'future' but we are using it right 'now'. You may know or not but AI is already driving many of our engagements and few apps which we use already leverages AI.

AI is revolutionazing the world, like what electricity did to the manufacturing, internet did to the technology/digital world.

Now I'll let the photos do the talking !

API is the name of the game! All companies leverage it, technology is highly commoditized.
