I am so excited to finally make my first post on Hive. After a few days I was able to understand that Hive is, above all, a wonderful community that I would definitely like to be a part of. To you, who are reading me now, I want to thank you for joining me in these, my first steps.

My name is Lian, I am from a country called Cuba, a beautiful island in the Caribbean, small in size but charming, which I'll be happy to write about in future posts. I currently live in Havana City, the capital of my country, a diverse, happy, magical city.
Yes, I am definitely in love with Havana!
I turned 29 this year, and I finished my university degree in engineering a few years ago. I've always been the girl who loves math and physics, but also books, from historical novels to crazy dystopias; and the girl who loves to sing under the shower, and write her dreams in a notebook late at night.

For a long time I had planned to do something different from my work, write about topics that I like, that provide useful content to the community. Fortunately, I discovered this interesting path through which to begin a new journey. I think this is the right place to develop skills, creativity and connect with people from all over the world. I look forward to posting content regularly, in English and Spanish.
Content about what? Well, mainly about tech, book reviews, music. A whole mix of what I like to do in my free time and that I would really like to share.

I am very grateful, dear reader, that you have given me a few minutes of your time, which is the most valuable thing that can be given to us. I do not intend this presentation to become a long article, but I do not want to put the final point without first mentioning the support provided by my friend @abelfotografia and the cuban community @hivecuba.
