There are places that we pass by many times without noticing them. They are not necessarily famous places, nor are they the ones that appear in travel magazines or on postcards. Sometimes they are simple corners that exist quietly in our daily lives: a small table next to a window, a bench under a tree, a street where the afternoon light falls in a special way, or a corner of a home where everything seems to invite us to stay a little longer. I have always believed that some spaces have a particular energy, something difficult to explain with words, but easy to feel.

This is why I wanted to begin this series called "Corners with Soul". I do not want to talk only about beautiful places because beauty is something very personal. What one person considers an ordinary corner, another person may see as a place full of memories, emotions, and stories waiting to be discovered. A place becomes special not only because of its appearance, but because of what it makes us feel. Sometimes a simple corner can remind us of a conversation, a person, a moment of peace, or even a version of ourselves that we had forgotten.

Por eso quise comenzar esta serie llamada "Rincones con alma". No quiero hablar solamente de lugares bonitos porque la belleza es algo muy personal. Lo que una persona considera un rincón común, otra puede verlo como un espacio lleno de recuerdos, emociones e historias esperando ser descubiertas. Un lugar se vuelve especial no solo por su apariencia, sino por aquello que nos hace sentir. A veces un rincón sencillo puede recordarnos una conversación, una persona, un momento de tranquilidad o incluso una versión de nosotros mismos que habíamos olvidado.

I think we all have places that hold a special meaning in our lives. They may not have anything extraordinary, but they have something that connects with us. Maybe it is the smell of coffee in a small café, the sound of leaves moving with the wind in a park, the warmth of sunlight entering through a window, or the silence of a place where we can finally hear our own thoughts. These small details often go unnoticed because we are always in a hurry, but when we stop for a moment, we discover that there is beauty hidden in the simplest things.

Creo que todos tenemos lugares que guardan un significado especial en nuestra vida. Quizás no tienen nada extraordinario, pero poseen algo que conecta con nosotros. Puede ser el aroma del café en una pequeña cafetería, el sonido de las hojas moviéndose con el viento en un parque, la calidez de la luz entrando por una ventana o el silencio de un lugar donde finalmente podemos escuchar nuestros propios pensamientos. Muchas veces estos pequeños detalles pasan desapercibidos porque vivimos con prisa, pero cuando nos detenemos un momento descubrimos que existe belleza escondida en las cosas más simples.

For me, observing a place is also a way of observing life. Every corner has a story, even when nobody is telling it. An old chair, a flower growing near a wall, a door with years of history, or a small table prepared for someone who will arrive later can awaken our imagination. We begin to wonder about the people who have been there, the conversations that happened, the joys and difficulties that those spaces have witnessed. Perhaps that is what gives certain places their soul: the invisible traces left by life itself.

Para mí, observar un lugar también es una forma de observar la vida. Cada rincón tiene una historia, incluso cuando nadie la está contando. Sometimes we believe that meaningful moments only happen in extraordinary places, but life often hides its most valuable memories in ordinary corners. A place does not need to be grand to become important; sometimes a small space can hold emotions, dreams, and pieces of our personal history. Perhaps that is the magic of certain corners: they quietly become part of who we are.

A veces creemos que los momentos significativos solo ocurren en lugares extraordinarios, pero la vida suele esconder sus recuerdos más valiosos en rincones comunes. Un lugar no necesita ser grande para convertirse en importante; en ocasiones un pequeño espacio puede guardar emociones, sueños y fragmentos de nuestra propia historia. Quizás esa es la magia de ciertos rincones: silenciosamente se convierten en parte de quienes somos.

With this first chapter, I want to invite you to look around with a different perspective. Maybe today there is a corner near you that you have ignored for a long time, but that has something beautiful to offer. Sometimes we do not need to travel far to discover something meaningful. Sometimes all we need is to slow down, observe carefully, and allow ourselves to appreciate the small places that accompany our journey.

This will be my little space to share those corners that awaken emotions, memories, and reflections. Because every place has a story, and sometimes the most beautiful stories are hidden in the simplest corners.

Con este primer capítulo quiero invitarte a mirar a tu alrededor con una perspectiva diferente. Quizás hoy existe cerca de ti un rincón que has ignorado durante mucho tiempo, pero que tiene algo hermoso para ofrecer. A veces no necesitamos viajar lejos para descubrir algo significativo. En ocasiones solo necesitamos disminuir el ritmo, observar con atención y permitirnos valorar esos pequeños lugares que acompañan nuestro camino.

Este será mi pequeño espacio para compartir esos rincones que despiertan emociones, recuerdos y reflexiones. Porque cada lugar tiene una historia, y algunas veces las historias más hermosas están escondidas en los rincones más sencillos.
