An Alive and Thriving Sunday!

Hello friends!
Happy #aliveandthriving Sunday evening to you, and thank you for your visit!

So, today I wanted to go to the Park and get some miles on the bike, you know the "urge to get out of the house" so....
I took a ride over to the Park and it was pretty empty because of the heat no doubt! This is a look down the Fishing Pier,

And to the side you can see the "Whitecaps" on the water from the wind, another reason that the Park was empty. When you take this heat and 20 mph winds / 32.187 mph you effectively are sitting in front of a heater, with the Sun on you as well!

Before leaving there I decided to get some photos of the signs - "for Winter Texans".
This first is "some" of the local birds - all of these signs are only whatever / whoever thought was interesting at the time and do not represent all what's here. That being said...
Here are the birds,

I have never seen a "Redhead Duck" here, they must hide. And many do not believe that Peregrine Falcons live here - but they do!

This next sign is of the local fish, and I think it may be limited to what you can catch from the Pier and that is limited as well,

This last sign is of the Invertebrates that live here. I took the photo mostly for the "Serpulid Worms". I may have seen these and thought they were plants!

While leaving I noticed the "Dollar Weeds" are blooming everywhere!

And I left to put some miles on the bike. Crossing a parking lot I saw a few hamburger buns laying in the parking lot. So did the Seagulls! This guy was hurring to get away!

Here you can see them coming in past the Gateway Christian Center,

And others coming in from under the bridge,

Between that and the heat I decidedto go home and cool off!
And that was my #aliveandthriving Sunday!
