This is the Clark Museum in the PI. This was important for my dad to see as he served in the military there.

Bamboo is used for a lot of things, it is very strong material. I didn't know most of this stuff about it, interesting read.

This is something I was taught to do growing up. It's called the Mano. It's a sign of respect to your elders. You take your elder's hand and touch it to your forehead. I loved reading the details about it because that's all I knew about it. I love that even growing up doing certain things, there's still more to learn about the symbolism behind it.

I didn't grow up in the Philippines but my mom sings to my son and I absolutely love it. I feel like it's a bond between them. He is only a few months old but he has tried singing along with her. It is the sweetest thing.

I've never personally experienced this or been to a Philippine wedding but I thought this was interesting.

I never knew about this. It took a lot of work but these were the strongest because of how they were made.
