Aimless Results

Directions are difficult to follow
When leadership abdicates trust
Doing what must be done
Entails breaking the rules
With forethought, not malice
Peaceful withdrawal
From all but the most inward quests
Even with the knowledge that
All may be gone without input

Sipping on a shot in the dark
Coffee, when life sometimes
Becomes its own shot in the dark
Hit or miss, upon binding regulation
Steers away from fundamental truth
Capacity and capability wasted
(like kids running off to smoke pot)
Because the focus of the vision of tomorrow
Is buried in debt accumulation of today

Economics always right themselves
Markets self-correct
Giving not a though or care in the world
To the individual family affected
On the other end of the puppeteers strings
Sinking in economic redirection
Via overzealous order and disarmed chaos
(temporarily – she returns with a vengeance)
