Uwan Exists the Philippines
The New York Times describes the aftermath of typhoon Uwan (Fung-wong) as if "it is the end of the world." For Filipinos, the NYT photos are common scenarios whenever strong typhoons visit the country. The good thing is that the number of casualties is minimal. Thanks to the evacuation program of the government, people are being transferred to safer places.
Now that Uwan is leaving the Philippines, I think classes will be resumed. Waiting for the official announcement.
