Mi presentación para Hive/ My Hive presentation

Hola Hive hoy tendré el placer de contarles una partecita de mi vida.

Hello Hive today I will have the pleasure to tell you a little part of my life.

Mi nombre es Leidy Torres, tengo 32 años de edad, nací el 22 de marzo de 1989, soy de signo aries, venezolana, hija de madre venezolana y padre colombiano, por lo que también corre un poco en mis venas ese hermoso País, mi lugar de nacimiento fue en Ureña, Ciudad San Cristóbal, Estado Táchira, un Municipio ubicado en el noroeste venezolano, específicamente frontera con Cúcuta, Norte de Santander - Colombia. Actualmente resido en la Ciudad de San Cristóbal, aproximadamente desde mis 17 años, iniciativa que empezó por temas de estudios de Pregrado y decidí quedarme a vivir desde entonces.

My name is Leidy Torres, I am 32 years old, I was born on March 22, 1989, I am of Aries sign, Venezuelan, daughter of Venezuelan mother and Colombian father, so also runs a little in my veins that beautiful country, my birthplace was in Ureña, San Cristobal City, Tachira State, a municipality located in the Venezuelan northwest, specifically border with Cucuta, Norte de Santander - Colombia. I currently reside in the city of San Cristobal, approximately since I was 17 years old, an initiative that began for undergraduate studies and I decided to stay and live since then.

Soy egresada de la Universidad de los Andes (ULA), Núcleo “Dr. Pedro Rincón Gutiérrez” Táchira, donde me gradué, con honores, full enamorada de mi universidad, donde obtuve la oportunidad de conocer, los mejores amigos del mundo, profesores excelentes, que impartieron en mí, valores, principios, pasión, perseverancia, optimismo y muchos más sentimientos bonitos.

I am a graduate of the Universidad de los Andes (ULA), Núcleo "Dr. Pedro Rincón Gutiérrez" Táchira, where I graduated with honors, full in love with my university, where I had the opportunity to meet the best friends in the world, excellent professors, who taught me values, principles, passion, perseverance, optimism and many more beautiful feelings.

En la ULA, conocí a los que hoy en día, puedo decir orgullosamente son mis dos mejores amigos, los tres nos identificamos inmediatamente al conocernos, íbamos llenos de sueños, en hacerlo bien cada día, en exigirnos, en adquirir el conocimiento necesario para volvernos los mejores en nuestra carrera y así fue, pues uno de ellos fue el segundo mejor estudiante y no solo de la carrera sino de todas las carreras que en ese momento estaban en el acto de graduación.

At ULA, I met what today I can proudly say are my two best friends, the three of us identified immediately when we met, we were full of dreams, in doing well every day, in demanding ourselves, in acquiring the necessary knowledge to become the best in our career and so it was, because one of them was the second best student and not only of the career but of all the careers that at that time were in the graduation ceremony.

Soy una mujer que a los 17 años de edad, decidió irse a vivir a la Ciudad, sola, por supuesto con el apoyo de su madre, desde niña sentí esa necesidad, de independencia de alguna manera, actualmente con 32 años de edad, sigo pensando que fue la mejor decisión de pude haber tomado, claro estoy a 2 horas de mi casa materna así que visito a mi mamá frecuentemente, en cuanto a mis cualidades, soy un poco temperamental, pero no conflictiva, no falta de respeto y mucho menos imponente, me considero una mujer llena de amor propio todos los días, que se exige, a la que le gusta el romanticismo, el helado, el chocolate y las flores, que cuando me siento triste o enojada en mi rostro se me nota, soy selectiva, llorona, sensible, no me quedo callada ante las injusticias, que si algo no me gusta lo digo, pero con respeto. Siempre me dicen que tengo un carácter fuerte, pero esta soy yo, una mujer fuerte y feliz de ser quien es, con errores y experiencias, pero siempre aprendiendo de ello.

I am a woman who at 17 years of age, decided to go to live in the city, alone, of course with the support of his mother, since childhood I felt the need for independence in some way, now 32 years old, I still think it was the best decision I could have taken, of course I am 2 hours from my mother's house so I visit my mom frequently, as for my qualities, I am a little temperamental, I consider myself a woman full of self-love every day, who demands herself, who likes romanticism, ice cream, chocolate and flowers, when I feel sad or angry in my face it shows, I am selective, crybaby, sensitive, I do not keep quiet in the face of injustice, if I do not like something I say it, but with respect. I am always told that I have a strong character, but this is me, a strong woman and happy to be who she is, with mistakes and experiences, but always learning from it.

Soy una gran defensora de los Derechos de las personas, y aún más, cuando se trata de personas vulnerables, en el 2018 a través de mi prima conocí una fundación que lleva por nombre; Fundación Grupo Integral de Apoyo, en sus siglas (GIA) , el cual me hice voluntaria inmediatamente, en el 2019 ingrese a formar parte de los voluntarios de las Naciones Unidas ID 1522417, hace unos días por decisión personal pase un comunicado donde hice mi renuncia, al voluntariado en fundación GIA, pasando a ser aspirante de voluntariado en la Cruz roja Venezolana, ese despertar por ayudar y servir a los demás, fue cuando empecé a cocinar con mis primas, arepas para llevar al hospital una vez por semana, estando en ese lugar, ver tanta necesidad, tanta vulnerabilidad, me hizo reflexionar y tener claro que debía hacer algo por ellos, y así fue, decidí hacer voluntariado, definitivamente fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar en mi corta edad, el sentimiento, la alegría, el entusiasmo, cuando asisto alguna actividad, no se compara con nada.

I am a great defender of the rights of people, and even more, when it comes to vulnerable people, in 2018 through my cousin I met a foundation that goes by the name; Fundación Grupo Integral de Apoyo, in its acronym (GIA), which I became a volunteer immediately, in 2019 I became part of the volunteers of the United Nations ID 1522417, a few days ago by personal decision I passed a statement where I made my resignation, to volunteering in GIA foundation, becoming an aspiring volunteer in the Venezuelan Red Cross, that awakening to help and serve others, It was when I started cooking with my cousins, arepas to take to the hospital once a week, being in that place, seeing so much need, so much vulnerability, made me reflect and have clear that I had to do something for them, and so it was, I decided to volunteer, it was definitely the best decision I could take in my young age, the feeling, the joy, the enthusiasm, when I attend any activity, does not compare to anything.

Cabe resaltar, que soy una asesora de amigas en cuanto a outfit, me gusta la moda, la belleza, el glamour, y todo la referente en asesorar para verse y sentirse bien, o bueno eso me dicen mis amigas, que soy excelente en cuanto necesitan de mi ayuda, para lucir increíbles, en la parte laboral; trabajo en una empresa del sector privado, que se dedica a la distribución de alimentos, ocupando el cargo, de analista contable, me gusta el deporte, así que asisto al gimnasio en horas del mediodía, que es mi hora libre de almuerzo, luego regreso y retomo mis actividades, empecé a tomar clases de inglés, 2 veces por semana, me gustan las plantas, así que tengo unas cuantas, me gusta ser sociable, no me gusta cocinar, pero, sí me encanta el orden, me apasiona leer, lo hago cada vez que tengo tiempo, eso hace que mi imaginación sea increíble.

It should be noted that I am an advisor to friends in terms of outfit, I like fashion, beauty, glamor, and all the reference in advising to look and feel good, or so my friends tell me, I am excellent when they need my help, to look amazing, in the work part; I work in a company in the private sector, which is dedicated to the distribution of food, occupying the position of accounting analyst, I like sports, so I go to the gym at noon, which is my free lunch hour, then return and resume my activities, I started taking English classes, 2 times a week, I like plants, so I have a few, I like to be sociable, I do not like cooking, but I love the order, I love reading, I do it every time I have time, that makes my imagination is amazing.

La idea de pertenecer a este block, es que puedo plasmar, todo lo que se pasa por mi cabeza, desde las experiencias vividas, sueños por cumplir, experiencias contadas por otras personas, tips para motivar en el trabajo, estudio, o cuando deseen que les hable de algún tema que les llame la atención me gustan las sugerencias y utilizarlas como feedback, hasta secretos de belleza, glamour y moda.

The idea of belonging to this block, is that I can capture everything that goes through my head, from the experiences lived, dreams to fulfill, experiences told by others, tips to motivate at work, study, or when they want to talk about a topic that catches their attention I like the suggestions and use them as feedback, to beauty secrets, glamor and fashion.

Estamos en un mundo donde siempre debemos marcar la diferencia, ser aceptados sin estereotipos, patrones a seguir o juzgados, considero que es importante tener propósitos, y que maravilloso es ayudar, servir, escuchar, fortalecer, entre otros; a todo aquel, que lo necesite, por un planeta mejor, sin violencia, pero siempre con respeto.

We are in a world where we must always make a difference, be accepted without stereotypes, patterns to follow or judged, I think it is important to have purposes, and how wonderful it is to help, serve, listen, strengthen, among others; to anyone who needs it, for a better planet, without violence, but always with respect.
