Brave Old Barns Weathers a Saskatchewan Winter

This is the barn adorns the January month of my 2019 Old Saskatchewan Barns Calendar. In days gone by, a barn was a necessity on farms as people needed a place for their horses, pigs, cattle, and maybe even chickens or turkeys in the winter. These days a farm can do without them as people would sooner go to the store to buy anything they won't sell.

Saskatchewan is the province third from the west in Canada and where I spent almost my entire life, save a few stints elsewhere. No place like home. But in winter, just about any place else is warmer :).
