***Hey Steemians, I love GoGo***

Growing up in Washington, DC as a child I liked Micheal Jackson and then Tupac, however I was really hooked on another sound, that came only out of the District of Columbia, but sounded like it's from Africa. GoGo, it is something you here that makes you move. If you are not from DC and you haven't been exposed to this Genre of Music, your ears may be shocked. GoGo is much more than music it is an Experience. GoGo music is Thriving in DC and embracing Gentrification, proving that it can pass the test of time, due to past negative stigmas and narratives suggesting that the art form is dead and will not be able to live on. If you have heard the music but have not actually been to a GoGo, I strongly Suggest a trip to the gogo or just tuning into some Youtube videos of different GoGo Bands. Such as Back Yard Band, Rare Essence, or PERFECTION Band to name a few.

Also, The GoGo Bands collaborate with each other to give back to the community, with the goal to inspire and motivate the youth.
