Imagine this: the power went out, and what a surprise! It was dark for more than 6 hours. But instead of complaining, I took advantage of the fresh breeze because the heat was intense. We took out the guitar and the phone and recorded this song in the dark. And the crickets joined the party as you can hear! They sang so loudly that they snuck into the audio, giving it a touch of pure countryside. Isn't that something?
Imagínense: se fue la luz, y ¡Que sorpresa! Fueron más de 6 horas a oscuras. Pero en vez de quejarme, aproveché la brisa fresca porque el calor estaba fuerte. Sacamos la guitarra, el teléfono y grabamos esta canción bajo la oscuridad. ¡Y los grillos se unieron a la fiesta como pueden oír! Cantaban tan fuerte que se colaron en el sonido, dándole un toque de campo puro. ¿Que cosas no?
This song is pure feeling; it speaks of the nobility and the total devotion of a mother for her children. It touches your soul and makes you reflect on what it means to have her close. I am one of the blessed ones: I still have my parents with me, although they are getting old now. They live there in the countryside, where they have spent their entire lives, healthy and with that energy that only the mountains and springs can give. It is an immense joy, and every day I thank God, our creator, for this blessing. We must value what we have!
Esta canción es puro sentimiento, habla de la nobleza y la entrega total de una madre por sus hijos. Te llega al alma, te hace reflexionar en lo que significa tenerla cerca. Yo soy de las bendecidas: todavía tengo a mis papás conmigo, aunque ya están viejitos. Viven allá en el campo, donde han pasado toda la vida, sanos y con esa energía que solo dan los las montañas y los manantiales. Es una dicha inmensa, y cada día le doy gracias a Dios, nuestro creador, por esta bendición. ¡Hay que valorar lo que tenemos!
