People say AI will ruin the film and TV industry. But honestly, AI could not have generated something worse than this. Like I GET IT - you had a gorgeous coffee table book to adapt and all that costs money. And the one thing that did not cost $320 million was the script.

Netflix are happy to spaff money up the wall - witness Rebel Moon - but... like, it should mean something. It should advance where we are in terms of effects and storytelling. THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS for something so eminently forgettable.

What were they thinking?

(I also watched Moana 2. And you know what? Lin Manuel Miranda did NOT return to write the songs. No shit. Sooner or later people should just you know... take a stand until somebody writes a decent script that actually says something. About something. Because we are drowning in Be Yourself shit and trust me, AI can definitely vomit up that a thousand times an hour)
