Aujan River - Syria

If you, my Hivers friends, are a fan of green nature mixed with the beauty of rivers and mountains, you should come with me to spend a day in the Aujan River.

The Aujan River is located in a Syrian village called Bashrail, where there is a constant abundance of greenery and picturesque nature.

The Aujan River was called by this name because of the many meanders in its path, and the word Aujan in the Arabic language means meander, because the river while walking between the trees forms many turns.

Village residents and investors have established popular restaurants on the river, where you can find various restaurants along the river, while some have prepared places to receive visitors in the middle of the river. Where you sit at the tables and the water flows from under you, giving you more freshness and coolness.

With the arrival of spring and the approach of summer, the temperatures begin to rise, so you will find people flock to the river to spend a day in the lap of nature, water under you, and trees around you, sitting under the shade of its branches.

To reach the river, you have to pass the village, up the mountains until you reach a narrow dirt road that brings you down to a low area to feel as if you are in a bowl surrounded by mountains from all sides.

There are many and varied popular restaurants set up on the course of the river, but for me and my friends we always prefer to go to the farthest restaurant, the one that is located at the source of the river, where the water is very cold and clean and you can see it flowing from the ground and falling from a height to form a small waterfall and then they gather and form like a natural pool of rocks and follow after to draw a river running on The extension of the village and further.

The water is clean, cold and clear but because of the trees above it looks green, some fish live in the river, so if you choose a table to sit in the middle of the water, you can feel some fish touching your feet and you can see or feed them because the water is not deep.

I am a person who loves nature very much, loves the green color of trees and plants, and I love water, so I can tell you that my visit to the Aujan River was a reward for my soul and absolute happiness.
