Just keep playing
- "When I grow up, I will be a ballerina every day, and a doctor only on weekends."
There was a period when she wanted to be a sculptor, a bug biologist, to repair machines, to walk on the moon, an artist...
Many wishes, few years, the sweetest period of growing up.
In fact, a short period without practically any obligations, where the most important task is exclusively playing. Playing the roles of adults is very interesting, even the most ordinary and boring ones. Maybe some of our jobs are boring, among other things, because we forgot to play.
That's why I always remember my favorite song from Mary Poppins film:
In every job that must be done
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and snap!
The job's a game
And every task you undertake
Becomes a piece of cake
A lark! A spree! It's very clear to see that
And perhaps one of the best parts of parenthood is that your children remind you of what it was like when you were a child.
This is my first entry ever for the #monomad challenge:)
Wish you a lovely evening!
And don't forget:
"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." George Bernard Shaw
