Goodbye Hong Kong. How's the food on the plane?
A long queue awaited me upon my arrival at the airport. Why do people like to queue so much? (that includes me)
Where is my plane?
The plane is here and it's time to board.
All seated and belted up and waiting to take off.
Braise Soya Pork Belly with steamed rice, vegetables, pickled cabbage.
The portion of pork belly was pretty generous. It wasn't too bad too.
Chicken Bolognese, Penne Pasta, with Parmesan cheese.
It doesn't look glam, but is also pretty ok in terms of taste.
Mango cream cake for dessert. Desserts are my favourite! :)
Home sweet home.
It’s time to say Goodbye. :(
I enjoyed myself and loved the weather there too. I can only imagine the adjustment I’ll need to go through when I land back in Singapore and have to live in the sweltering heat and humidity once again.
I was surprised by the long queue at the checkin counter when I arrived at the airport. I thought I was already early, and the counter itself wasn’t open yet, but everyone was already queuing up! Oh well, it’s not like I had anything to do at that moment either.
It was a different selection of food for the return trip. As usual, it didn’t look like fine dining with great plating, but it tasted pretty good overall. I can never explain why. The lack of any choices at all on the plane is making us feel more appreciative of any food at all perhaps? :)
Well, home sweet home at last. As much as I don’t quite prefer the weather in Singapore, it is still home, where the heart is. :)
