My first post on Steemit!

Hello lovely Steemit Community Citizens!

My name is Rebecca and I am brand new to the Steemit Community! I'm super excited to be here and interact and get to know you all!

A little about me: I'm 25, an artist, writer, singer, youtuber, blogger, and single mother. Oh and I play Roller Derby! haha I live in Alaska and love it here, the winters are a little long, but it's gorgeous. Just absolutely love it.

A little deeper into my story: Last year (December 2016) my husband left me. I was a stay at home mom and didn't have any income at all. I was trying to run an MLM makeup business which was doing okay but nowhere near enough to live on. A few months later, the company I was working on got shut down so I was completely unemployed. I started trying to get serious with my Youtube channel and blog because working away from home with my toddler being so attached wasn't something I wanted to do. So, I have been working from home trying to design logos, creating a coloring book and anything else I can manage to do from home to earn some money.
I recently started learning about the wonderful world of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and I'm super excited. I've invested some money and I know this is going to be huge.

So, there's me. I try to use the little social media influence I have to spread positivity, encouragement and share any knowlege I accumulate. I want to help others achieve their dreams even while I'm chasing my own. That to me is my purpose, to remind people there is hope and there's always a way to achieve our goals.
