Rosenborg Castle.
Rosenborg Castle - the former residence of the Danish kings, built by order of king Christian IV on the outskirts of Copenhagen in 1606-1624.
Flemming, Hans Stenvinkel Jr. designed the building in the Renaissance style of their homeland. The ballroom was most magnificently decorated, where solemn banquets and Royal audiences were held. Around the castle was a Royal garden, which is annually visited by 2.5 million tourists.
In 1838, Rosenborg Palace is open for free visits by the public. It exhibits art and historical collections of Danish kings.
