Consistency and commitment

You can't start anything without commitment and you can't finish without consistency.Commitment shows up in your life through actions.A psycologist Robert Anthony said something remarkable, "you will get two things out of life,reasons or results,reasons don't count."

People always give reasons why they are not working on their dreams or why they didn't achieve their dreams but none of that counts.The fact that you can have reasons for failing doesn't change the fact that you failed.Remember failure is not really failure until you give up.Thomas Edison tried creating the light bulb and failed about a thousand times.When asked about it he said "I have not failed 1,000 times,I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways of how not to make a light bulb." He merged his actions with consistency.

Consistency shows up when the activities required to achieve your dreams become your habit.You wake up in the morning and head to that studio and record that song,you read that book,you start writing that book, you start that project,you study that market and you keep at it every day,doing what needs to be done no matter what.Don't let anything stop you,don't say you won't begin because you want to start big.Greatness is a lot of small things done well.No matter how small,start it and if it is a good thing and found on truth,it will succeed.

A tree is judged by the fruit it bears,not the ones it might talks about,think about or wish for.Don't just talk about your dreams,take actions and be consistent.Only consistency can give results. As individuals, we are all committed and consistent to something in life.

You are either committed to productivity or mediocrity,to being more or to becoming less,to building your life or obliterating it.The kind of results you have now will tell you where your commitment and consistency lies.Be committed to greatness,there is greatness within you.
