An Oriole and His Gift

This Oriole is everything I would want in a man. His job is to catch food for his mate while she sits on the elaborate nest they built together. And so he caught this insect, perhaps a praying mantis or a grasshopper to please her. But instead of speeding off to the nest, he came to the Oriole feeder in order to dip it in grape jelly. He dips it into the jelly several times to make sure it is fully coated before heading off to present his gift to his mate. He is so clever, thoughtful, and inspiring.

And so this is what I want, a man who will dip my grasshopper in grape jelly for me. It is after all the little things in life that matter.
