So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week which is “WHO NEEDS LIBRARIES?”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “THIS IS DISCIPLINE”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts on discipline and the levels parents of today were willing to take it. As long as they believed they were doing what was best for the child, some measures could be deemed acceptable. Now, these measures could be where each parent differed.

We got to see the methods of discipline some preferred to use, and we saw the ones that they would never even consider. All in all, what matters is the well-being of the child, and now that parents are smarter and more educated about the needs of their children, there are so many who are willing to make the necessary changes to raise their kids the right way.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w158e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below.

Featured Contents

THE FORMS OF LEARNING by shiftrox@shiftrox

This author told us that spanking doesn’t always get the job done and with children, talking is always the best path to follow. The most important thing for him is to avoid aggression, physical or otherwise. Being overly strict with the children will only make them scared to be free when he’s around. And that’s not something any parent would want from their child.

POSITIVE DISCIPLINE: PARENTING WITH PURPOSE by justfavour@justfavour

For this author, he shared with us some tips that were vital when it comes to parenting, one of which was; paying attention. Parents have a duty to know what is going on in the lives of their kids, so they will be able to interfere when they begin to stray to the wrong path. Also, parents had to be clear about the rules and laws governing the home and make sure that they were not compromised for any reason.

TO EDUCATE IS TO DIALOGUE michupa@michupa

For this author, he shared with us the methods he used in raising his kid. He was raised with a level of strictness from his mom. However, he chose not to follow that route as a father. He chose dialogue as a form of teaching, and when that doesn't work, he has other methods that will send the message home.

All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (melinda010100@melinda010100) ] and 1 $PANDAMINER each as a reward next Monday. These posts were selected because of their special attention to detail and how they followed the topic. There were a lot of good ones out there, but we just could not pick them all.

But then, we have some honorable mentions which are listed below:
