Rendez-Vous with A Demon (Original Poetry)
You sat down next to me
asking superficial questions
I smiled, answered,
you continued
all guns blazing.
Naive,
in good faith,
laughing
enjoying the stage
as you dug deeper
knowing exactly
where and how
to siphon the energy
required to sustain thy petty breath.
Synchronicities, how wonderful
I hear you whisper between chairs
as you struggle to write a coherent sentence
and my mind screams
Red flag! Red flag!
Blinded by the color spectrum
I get sucked into the vicious game
Signing another one of those nasty contracts
without comprehending what lies behind the veil.
I’ll kick out your thinking brain!
Let’s see what your heart can carry
before you realize you’re dancing with my spade.
Years passed before I managed to decipher
the malicious code I agreed to being installed
by a quirky demon
while I was playing with a human flame.
You messed with the wrong being
desperate to ride your carousel.
Do you really think
you can dominate the physical plane
when you face cosmic royalty
and a galactic multi-dimensional custodian
eager to kick your ass?
The upgrade has been completed
but you vanished
long before I could burn your tail.
The frequency war continues
as I remember how to collapse timelines
and reactivate my twelve-stranded DNA
bathing in a crystalline sphere.
