Until we meet again
Always told me to be strong
I thought we had infinite time together
But death has proved me wrong
Where your beautiful head once laid
Death wouldn't let you stay with me
No matter how hard I prayed
On the other end of the phone
But now all I hear is screaming silence
A reminder that I am all alone
And drag myself to bed
Drown myself in brand new tears
As I rest this weary head
I had a million more to go
You were my mother and best friend
I hope I've let that show
But one without your face
I promise to live life patiently
Waiting for your sweet embrace
I miss you Mommy. I love you.
Wishing you all love, peace, and happiness
Love,
KristaN
