My Actifit Report Card: April 4 2022

Yesterday was again more relaxed because I wasn’t 100% from my illness. Still got to see a good chunk, walked all around the main square including the forum which you can see in the picture.

It’s incredible that you can imagine life over 2000 years ago just from a collection of old ruins. Each serving a unique purpose to society. Because of the lack of sophisticated buildings, the centre would have been an intense hustle of work, play and brutality.

This also reminds us just how fragile our civilisation is, Rome lasted far longer than our post industrial world. What came after wasn’t a complete recession, but a lack of order which took a long time to recover.
