Lucky coin find
I work at CVS and the other day a customer paid for their prescription with this coin
I didn't know if it was worth anything at the time but I saw that it was from 1942 and thought it would be worth looking into. I exchanged my money for it and did a Google search and it looked as if it could be worth $1200!
Unfortunately after more research since mine was kind of worn and it didn't have a mint stamp it was closer to $15. Still I was able to turn 50 cents into $10 within a day when I found a collector on Facebook. I still wonder if I could have gotten more for it.
Fun fact, if you didn't know, these coins were mostly made of silver!
