A portrait close to my heart

Presenting the next portrait from my portrait series. A portrait very close to my heart as well. Did this one , of and for my partner as his birthday present.

Other then being the portrait of my partner, this one is special for another reason as well. If I have to share the long story short, it would we that I left my brushes and paint kind of to die in a box for a long time. I hardly painted or sketched . But then an urge to paint this one came. After two failed attempt of creating it, I finally did a really good one. The one , I am proud of too. And since then, I am back to my artist space, creating small, big artwork very pleasantly .

Sadly, I hardly have any process picture this one, because I was too engrossed in the process. But I’ll share the reference picture and the end result.
