@Knot is 1 Month Old

Lets raise a toast! - One month ago today, after a long contemplation about the vitality of such initiative and the commitment that it would require, the @Knot was born. Its mission is simple - to create one place where all sailing related content can be easily found and to pave a way for all sailors to connect with each other on Steemit.

30 day in and 160 Resteems later, the @knot is following over 50 users - all sailors of different caliber, and continues to discover new users daily, helping them find like-minded allays, and build a community of support and interaction among sailors on Steemit.

With every opportunity the @knot is powering up to better its ability to curate good content.

I'm incredible grateful to all the steemians who have been especially supportive of this initiative! A huge thank you to @beveryting, @kuttmoped, @vikingliveaboard, @ricpicks, @bavarian59, @agrestic and @zekepickleman, - your positive feedback and interaction within the community fills this project's sails and keeps it going forward.

I also appreciate many of you who joined the "Sailor's Knot" chat room on Discord. This is a great place to have open discussions, do group voice chats, listen to music, ask any questions and simply be part of the growing sailor community on Steemit.

Of course @knot is only at its very infancy. As more new members show up, its plans also includes:

• Weekly curation - featuring the best of sailing related posts
• Setting a curation trail - to increase the support within the community
• Trivia games and challenges with SBD awards
• Additional features on Discord chat.
