New Pet

So, today, after a month, I just wanted to announce that we have a new pet. My husband brought him to us later in January. His mother had a few other puppies who unfortunately died, but our dog survived. His father was a bulldog and his mother a mongrel. He's brown and has white paws and he's super cute. I named him Apollo, thinking of the Greek god. It was either Apollo or Aquiles. My family went through a vote and Apollo won the ballot. Anyway, he's almost three months now and he's super strong. Apollo loves drinking milk for dogs and pedigree. I know that I shouldn't, but sometimes I give him a sausage, here and there and he really devours them, but I don't give him that much. He loves to play and he's very sociable. My daughter is in love with him and she plays with him whenever she can. Unfortunately, I don't have a backyard, so I made him a little pen on our marquee. For the moment, I can't afford a little house for him, so I'm going to give him a little box where he can shelter himself. I placed old rugs in Apollo's little pen because I wanted him to feel as comfortable as he used to be in the house. He pees and poops a few times a day, so I use newspapers to pick up the poop and a rough brush to wipe the pees. But in the end, I love him very much. He's given us a lot of joy!
