Democracy needs a strong opposition: PM
Noting the need for a strong opposition party for democracy, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the opposition parties have failed to win the confidence of the people due to lack of efficient leadership. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, but will not be able to do so. But democracy must have a strong opposition. There is no doubt about it.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this while inaugurating a website in the name of Bangabandhu and launching a digital compilation of the Father of the Nation speech. He inaugurated the Mujibvarsha website 2020-21 and the digital compilation of audio speeches of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman organized by the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat at 11:30 am today.
