Rain falling over Bangkok at night 🌧️

Hello friends! 👋 For this post, it’s a glimpse of last night’s atmosphere. Honestly, I didn’t expect any rain 🌧️ because the morning was quite sunny ☀️. But as the evening came, the rain started to fall, and here’s my favorite corner once again — the balcony 🪟💙. Rainy nights like this make it hard to go out and find something for dinner 🍽️.

• But if I had to choose between summer ☀️ and the rainy season 🌧️, I’d still prefer Thailand’s rainy season. In Bangkok, though, heavy rain often causes flooding 🌊 because the drainage system can’t keep up — something I’ve experienced quite often here 🏙️.

Still, it’s better than summer, when Thailand is famously hot 🔥. The sun makes my skin feel like it’s burning 🥵, and I often get dizzy from the heat. 🌞💫

This is the atmosphere during a light drizzle 🌦️. Parts of the sky were painted in shades of red and orange, and the scent of rain filled the air 🌧️🍃. It felt like the perfect moment to sleep 😴, but it was only around 7:00 p.m. 🕖. Along the riverside, boats kept passing by 🚤, surrounded by the colorful lights of the buildings ✨.

After the rain had stopped for a while 🌧️✨, I decided to walk to a shabu restaurant 🍲 that wasn’t too far from where I live. With the fresh and cozy atmosphere 🌿, I was really craving something hot and comforting — and shabu was the perfect choice! 🔥 Since it’s nearby, I didn’t have to worry about traffic 🚗🚦, which can take quite a long time in the city.

• After finishing my shabu, I took a photo on the street, which was all wet 💦, with a light drizzle still falling 🌧️ as I walked back to my room 🏠. It’s another really rainy and cozy evening tonight ☔✨.
