Tinker with Dagon is back?

With Spectre making a comeback in this meta, one would expect Tinker to be out of it, being one of the hero’s strongest counter afterall. However, this is rather untrue, as Tinker is now again popular with the masses in the recent patches. His gameplay really hasn’t changed alot, prioritizing farming NCs to get the boots of travel, and just not dying in the laning stage.

However, several pros such as Miracle, Topson, and even SumaiL has been bringing back the Dagon style of Tinker- Often rushing it after their Dagg+Aether Lens. This build of course can not be played against every line up, as you lack alot of survivability towards heroes that can get into close proximity with the hero. The build however, is exceptionally strong if Tinker gets a good early game and snowballs towards the midgame.

What normally would be farmed next would be a Hex, or even a scepter to completely dominate the opponents. Tinker is a very fast paced hero, and in a good Tinker game, the general pace of a match would be way faster to play towards the heros’ advantage. Definitely not a good pick this meta to gain some mmr back!
