Handcrafted frame with a Bible verse
I thought it would be nice to make these kinds of pictures to sell or give as gifts.
With just a few materials, you can create something beautiful. π
π1. Paint the cardboard on both sides.
π2. I used acrylic paint, but you can paint the cardboard with whatever you have on hand.
π3. Paintbrushes.
π4. Glue it together at the end. Apply a coat of varnish to the glue so the paint doesn't get damaged.
π5. If you don't know how to draw, you can print it out, trace it, and transfer it to the cardboard using carbon paper.
After painting the cardboard and letting it dry.
Find a design you like and trace it onto the cardboard as shown here
Use long, thin brushes to paint over the letters.
But you can use whichever brush you feel most comfortable with.
The idea is to take your time so you don't end up with smudges or paint spills. π
You can use whatever paints you like. But in my case, I used the ones I had on hand, and they gave it an elegant finish.
I added some more details, and this is how it turned out π
Then I hung it on the wall so that thereβs a string on the back that isnβt visible.
But if you prefer to have a regular hanging cord showing, thatβs fine too.π
πThank you for reading this far. Blessings. π
