KO G1 TRANSFORMERS REVIEW

For Christmas I treated myself to a new transformers toy, a recently released ko of a 80s G1 transformer called Pipes. A ko is a knock off or a cheaply made replica of an original product. While there have been a lot of official reissues of most of the original transformers toys in recent years there are still a few that have either never been reissued or their reissue has been extremely rare, because of that these ko's can be a cheap alternative and are easily found on ebay. These transformer ko's come from China and are made by toy companies either by obtaining old toy molds or by creating new ones using existing toys.

I've bought a couple of ko's in the past of transformer toys that have never been reissued and I have to say that this one is probably the best in quality so far. Could be because it's brand new (these were released in September 2022), or maybe the toy companies that make them are improving their quality control, either way the quality for this one is great. The plastic feels smooth and strong, colors are bright, and the joints are nice and tight, the chrome on the arms is fantastic too.

So if you like transformers and don't want to break your bank account buying some big fancy figure for your collection, I recommended this little guy.
