THAT FIRST PAYCHECK
One of the things I have come to realize is that the first pay is always a very special one. Although mine came later after a very big hussle. I remember how I felt after saving 20 HBD only to discover that my account had been hacked. The money I saved was gone and I was only lucky my HP had not started going before I discovered it. To date I do not know how my account was hacked, but it was and all I have done since then was try to be careful so it doesn’t repeat itself.
But then the good news came when I made my first withdrawal, it was 10 HBD and about 12,000 naira at the time. I was still in school, and I remember how I felt withdrawing that money. It wasn’t really a pleasant feeling, but it was a feeling that stuck deep with me. The fact that it was a period when things were really hard, I needed to get textbooks and the timeline the lecturer gave was already due, I knew that there was no where I could get money from, so I decided to look into my account and if I am to be honest, it was so unreal.
Looking at my account and everything that was there, I could not believe I was going to be having that money in my naira account. When I sent the hive to my binance account, I still could not believe it, it was also my first time using binance, but when it dropped in my Naira account, I knew that I was going to be continuing with hive because it was the very first time I was withdrawing on my own. But that was not even my first withdrawal. Before then I was too scared to withdraw from hive, so I would sell the hive to other users and get cash from them, but when I made my own withdrawal, I knew for certain that there was no feeling like it.
