ONE MILLION DOLLARS

One million dollars is a lot of money, and to be honest I am not doing anything that would make me that amount of money at this time. However, if I should win it some way somehow, then I can say for a fact that I will be made for life. One million dollars in my currency is about 1,400,000,000 naira and that men is going to be doing a lot for me. The first this I would do is share the money 60/40. Then immediately I will share that 40% which is about 400,000 dollars into different investments that will bring me returns. I can put some in mutual funds, and other capital assets that will grow and yield interest every year.

The next thing I will do is use about $200,000 in buying a house for myself and my parents (different houses). This is because in this part of the world, houses are investment as we do not pay mortgage on the properties we purchase here. Once you own a house here, you own it for life and can sell it anytime you want any amount you wish so long it’s not outrageously high. This would mean I won’t be paying rent ever again. From that same $200,000 I will be getting little cars for transportation, nothing luxury, just good enough for myself and my parents.

When I am done with that I will then invest about $100,000 into crypto assets. I will invest in different assets so I do not suffer from the loss of one. Then I put $150,000 into the stock market. Here I will also be investing in different assets I hope will give me good returns. When I have done that, I will invest in small businesses. I think of businesses in agriculture, like fish farming, poultry, and even other forms of farming. I would be spreading $100,000 in these kinds of businesses and then keep the remaining $50,000 for my upkeep pending when my investments start paying.
