Been bingeing on Joaquin Phoenix' interviews for hours now..
This is one of the better interviews with the extraordinary actor.
I don't like the Jimmy Kimmel one. In Kimmel's interview, while Joaquin seriously answers the questions, Jimmy Kimmel is so patronizing and keeps laughing for no reason. That is so idiotic. And almost humiliating, particularly when that Kimmel guy showed a snippet from the movie-making that's embarrassing to Joaquin.
On this interview however, Peter Travis treats Joaquin as a source whom we can learn much from (meaning: the interviewer IS really asking questions) and Joaquin humbly answers each question as a human being. Just brilliant.
