Today I'm going to be talking about a day in school.
It is an experiment we where going to carry out in the lap . first of all we were to determine the empirical formula of a compound and I going to be talking about the steps we took

Objective: to determine the empirical formula of a given compound through quantitative analysis

Material: unknown compound, Bunsen burner, balance and various laboratory equipment
Procedure: A weight sample of the unknown compound was heated in crucible to produce a residue.the mass of the percentage composition of the compound was calculated.the empirical formula was then deduced from the percentage composition.

Results: the empirical formula of the compound was determined
