A MATCH AGAINST CYPRUS😹🙁💔

SECOND HALF ONLY
Second half I switched and started playing anyhow sha 🙂💔😹 I got too confident after that first half control. So I decided to be naughty with my goalkeeper. Passing from GK to defender, back to GK, then back to defender again like I was doing freestyle. I thought Cyprus were tired and wouldn’t press me. Big mistake. They read it quick, intercepted the pass between my defender and GK, and scored before I could blink. 1-1 just like that and I was shouting “which kind yeye pass be this” 😂

After they equalized I went back to serious mode immediately. I pushed everyone forward because I refused to draw that match. I was creating chances back to back. Cut inside, through balls, crosses, everything. But nothing was entering the net. Shots kept hitting the post, their keeper was doing miracles, defenders were throwing their bodies everywhere. It was frustrating honestly. Every attack looked like goal until something happened last second.

So the second half just ended 1-1 like that. I pushed till the final whistle but no more goals. First half was all control and possession, second half I played with my GK and they punished me for it. Lesson learned the hard way: don’t try to cruise with your goalkeeper when you’re leading 😹 Draw felt like a loss but we move.
