We’re rolling out a new update across both Hive Keychain Extension (3.14) and Mobile Apps (2.12). It introduces powerful shortcuts on desktop, expands escrow visibility across platforms, and improves mobile browser behavior for a more stable experience on mobile.

Let’s break it down.

• New Keyboard Shortcuts

Power users, this one is for you. We are excited to introduce keyboard shortcuts to make interacting with Hive Keychain faster and more efficient. Shortcuts will allow you to open specific accounts, navigate faster between actions, and trigger common workflows without relying only on clicks.

We hope these shortcuts help streamline your workflow!

• Escrow Transactions Now Visible in History

We’ve expanded transaction history visibility in the extension.

You can now see the transfer, approve, release, and dispute escrow operations directly in your history. These kinds of operations didn't have widespread usage until now, when we are seeing projects based on them.

Have in mind that the extension in Firefox is waiting for review. It might take some time in this particular case.

• Preserve Browser Navigation State

The in-app browser now remembers your navigation state. That means your goBack/goForward history is preserved, and that navigation memory survives app restarts

If you close the app and return later, your browsing flow remains intact, making browsing feel more like a native, full-featured browser.

• Improved Long-Press Detection for Media

We’ve refined how long-press works when interacting with images and videos. Some adjustments won't be easy to spot, but for example, now downloads will be disabled if more than one finger is triggering the long press.

This prevents accidental downloads when resizing pages or adjusting zoom levels, improving usability and reducing unintended actions.
