Through the veins
Lover's gone
but sting remains

Caught inside
a frame of ice
Shards of heart
Trapped in a vice
Splintered soul
Can never rest
The icy cold
within your chest

In your tomb
evade the sun
In the shade
of battles won
Locked up in
The price you paid
